FactoryOS
Autonomous manufacturing, one control plane.
About FactoryOS
Robotic assembly, computer vision and predictive maintenance coordinated from a single operational view. Every station on the floor reports live, so the people running the line see the same truth the machines do.

The challenge
A factory floor generates more state than any one person can hold: robot positions, vision inspection results, maintenance thresholds and throughput, all changing every second. The problem is not collecting that data, it is presenting it so a supervisor can act without reading a dashboard like a spreadsheet.
How it was built
Streaming over polling
Station telemetry arrives over persistent WebSocket connections rather than interval polling, so the floor view reflects machine state within a frame rather than a refresh cycle behind it.
Degrade, do not blank
A station that stops reporting shows its last known state with an explicit staleness marker, because an empty tile reads as "fine" to a supervisor scanning quickly.
Vision results as first-class data
Inspection output is structured state alongside position and throughput, so a defect trend appears next to the line producing it rather than in a separate report.
What the walkthrough shows
- Live floor view with per-station status and throughput
- Robotic assembly line with real-time position tracking
- Computer vision inspection results surfaced inline
- Predictive maintenance thresholds and alerts
- Digital twin and enterprise capability sections
